Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting Your Own Ninja Star

Materials Required:
– 2 sheets of square paper (preferably colored or patterned)
– Scissors
– Ruler
– Pencil
– Glue (optional)
Step 1:
Take the first square sheet of paper fold it diagonally in half to form a large triangle. Crease the paper along the fold then unfold.
Step 2:
Now fold the triangle in half the other way so that the opposite corners meet. Again crease the paper along the fold then unfold it again.
Step 3:
On one of the diagonal creases fold one of the corners down to meet the center crease. Repeat this process with the other corner to create a small square at the tip of the triangle.
Step 4:
Flip the paper over repeat step three on the other side creating another small square at the tip of the triangle.
Step 5:
Start cutting from each corner of the square towards the center crease. Cut about a third of the way along the diagonal folds to create a small triangle at the tip of the paper.
Step 6:
Flip the paper over repeat step five on the other side.
Step 7:
Fold one of the corners of the paper inwards aligning it with the diagonal fold. Repeat with the other corner then crease along the folds.
Step 8:
Repeat steps seven eight on the other side of the paper to create a diamond shape with two flaps on either side.
Step 9:
Fold the flaps over each other tuck them into the diamond shape to lock them in place.
Step 10:
Repeat steps one through nine with the second sheet of paper.
Step 11:
Place one of the completed diamond shapes over the other tucking the flaps of one diamond into the flaps of the other. Make sure that the two shapes are aligned with each other.
Step 12:
Fold the two uppermost flaps of the diamond shape down over themselves tucking them under the flaps of the other diamond shape locking them in place.
Step 13:
Repeat step twelve with the two flaps directly underneath the ones just folded down.
Step 14:
Flip the paper over repeat steps twelve thirteen on the other side of the paper.
Step 15:
Your ninja star is now complete ready to use. If desired you can add glue to the flaps to make them more secure.
