Step 1: Collect resources
The first step in building a boat in Minecraft is to collect the necessary resources. Players will need five wooden planks of any type two sticks to make a regular boat. For an oak boat players need six oak planks two sticks while for a spruce boat players require six spruce planks two sticks. Similarly dark oak birch acacia jungle boats also need wooden planks sticks to make.
Step 2: Open the crafting menu
Once players have collected the necessary resources the next step is to open the crafting menu. The crafting menu is usually on the right side of the screen.
Step 3: Place the resources in the crafting grid
To create a boat players need to place five wooden planks two sticks in the crafting grid according to the following pattern:
– The first row should have one wooden plank in the leftmost rightmost boxes one stick in the middle box.
