How to Build a Simple Paper Airplane
Paper airplanes are a fun easy way to pass the time. Whether you’re a kid or an adult you can make a paper airplane in just a few minutes. Here’s how to make a simple paper airplane that will fly far fast.
Gather Your Materials
You’ll need a piece of paper scissors tape. You can use any type of paper but printer paper or construction paper works best.
Fold the Paper
Fold the paper in half lengthwise. Then fold the paper in half again this time widthwise. Unfold the paper you should have a crease in the middle.
Fold the Wings
Fold the top corners of the paper down to the center crease. Then fold the bottom corners up to the center crease. This will create the wings of the airplane.
Fold the Tail
Fold the bottom of the paper up to the top. This will create the tail of the airplane.
Secure the Tail
Use a piece of tape to secure the tail in place. This will help the airplane fly straight true.
Test the Airplane
Throw the airplane see how it flies. If it doesn’t fly straight you may need to adjust the wings or tail.
Enjoy Your Paper Airplane
Once you’ve perfected your paper airplane you can have fun flying it around. You can even have competitions with your friends to see who can make the best paper airplane. Have fun!
