Gather Your Materials

Before you begin you’ll need to gather the materials you’ll need to build your cornhole board. You’ll need:

• 2 pieces of 3/4-inch plywood cut to 24-by-48 inches
• 4 2-by-4s cut to 48 inches
• 8 2-by-4s cut to 12 inches
• Wood screws
• Sandpaper
• Wood glue
• Paint or stain
• Polyurethane

Assemble the Frame

Once you have all of your materials you can begin assembling the frame. Start by attaching the two 48-inch 2-by-4s to the top bottom of the plywood using wood screws. Then attach the 12-inch 2-by-4s to the sides of the plywood. Make sure the frame is square secure.

SPaint

Once the frame is assembled you can begin sanding the wood to smooth out any rough edges. Once the wood is sanded you can apply a coat of paint or stain. Allow the paint or stain to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Attach the Legs

The next step is to attach the legs to the frame. Start by attaching the four 12-inch 2-by-4s to the bottom of the frame using wood screws. Make sure the legs are evenly spaced secure.

Add the Finishing Touches

Once the legs are attached you can add the finishing touches to your cornhole board. Start by applying a coat of polyurethane to the entire board to protect it from the elements. You can also add a logo or design to the board using paint or wood burning tools.

Enjoy Your Cornhole Board

Once your cornhole board is complete you can enjoy playing the game with family friends. With a little bit of time effort you can create a beautiful durable cornhole board that will last for years to come.
